Mk 16:15-18 Jesus appeared to the Eleven and said to them: “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. These signs will a ccompany those who believe: in my name they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages. They will pick up serpents with their hands, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
God works miracles through those who believe. There will be healing from the laying on of hands on the sick. The believers are to proclaim the Gospel. How do I proclaim the Gospel in the world in my daily life? Many times I feel that it is important to show the most through my actions. It could be helping a stranger with directions, noticing a difference in a person that is a slight acquaintance and showing concern. The reaching out to others in simple ways of love for me is much easier than talking to all about the Word of the Gospel.

I am very interreligious in my belief and vision of God and truly wish to be accepting and loving of all who are all religions and those who profess to be atheists. I find one of the most powerful messages of the Gospel from John: "God is Love" I believe we are doing God's will when we truly love one another. I also believe that a part of the laying on of hands that is healing is the loving wish with all the healer's might that the ill person be healed. I believe that the touch of the healer on the ill person is a sign of love and a full wish that the ill person be healed. With God all things are possible.
